London Airport fares

Many people use cab firms to get around, from taking the children to school to going to work but many of public use cabs to take them to the airport....but why?
You will find that many of the airport customers even have cars of their own but don’t take them because they don’t want to leave their car in the middle of a car park for as long as needed paying large amounts of money when you could just leave you car at home, then there are those who don’t drive and need to find a way that’s cheap, easy and a fast way of getting to the airport or maybe they have quite a bit of luggage and it won’t fit inside their vehicle so the need a larger vehicle to facilitate all that holiday luggage . Through my experience of using cabs I have found many places giving different prices and looking for a good price is always hard to find considering today’s recession problems and prices increasing on public transport as well.
So how can you find the best price for an airport job whether it may be Heathrow T1-5 or Gatwick because you have so many places quoting you different prices all saying they have the best prices, some say £25,£30 even £35 but I found one place do it from £20 and I can even book online with them.
End of the day you want a cab that will pick you up on time and they came 5 minutes earlier than expected which was good, the driver helped me with my luggage, he was very friendly and we arrived at the airport at the correct time and the driver helped unload my luggage, all for a nice price of £22 and that’s the service I got from a company called MiniCab for London and I’ve been using them ever since, their main office is based in Kingsbury and I highly recommend them.

Why people prefer to travel using minicab than other means of transportation service?

The answer to the above question is very simple as it revolves around you, the customer. People prefer to use a minicab rather than public transport as it is a different means of transport which caters for the variety of the customers’ needs. For instance using a minicab creates an association with the company and staff itself, something that cannot be done on the tube. Also, the fact that you can open a personal or corporate account with the company encourages the building of a relationship with the company. Therefore it is vital that the individual chooses a reputable firm, and one that is unique in the services they provide.

Another service that company provides is the option to access WI-FI throughout the journey, something that transport for London is looking into recently to provide on the tube. People also tend to use a minicab as suppose to taxis mainly due to the competitive prices that a minicab provides. This is clearly evident as in 2011 there were 50,000 licenced private hire vehicles as suppose to 22,000 licensed taxis.

Furthermore, due to the busy schedule and hectic lifestyle of a typical Londoner their method of journey is mainly revolved around timing. I don’t need to tell you of the delays and how crowded it can get on public transport, especially the tube! A minicab is quick, convenient and reliable. It is for these reasons people prefer to travel using minicab rather than other means of transport.
